Privacy policy
What this site collects, why, how long it is kept, and how to have it removed.
This policy covers Extension Broker at https://extensionbroker.com, operated by extensionbroker.com, reachable at support@extensionbroker.com. It was last updated on 7 October 2026.
What is collected
When you create an account
Prices and statistics on listings are shown to signed-in members. An account stores your email address, a display name, the date you joined, and when and how you last signed in. Nothing else is asked for.
If you continue with Google, Google tells this site your email address, your name and a stable account identifier, and confirms that the address is verified. No other part of your Google account is requested, and this site never sees your Google password. The Google button loads a script from accounts.google.com on the sign-in page only, and Google’s handling of that interaction is covered by Google’s privacy policy.
If you sign in by email, a one-time link is sent to the address you type. The link is stored only as a one-way fingerprint and stops working after 30 minutes or its first use, whichever comes first. The requesting IP address is counted for a short time to limit abuse and is not stored against your account. Sign-in emails are sent through the hosting provider’s mail service.
When you send an enquiry
The enquiry form on a listing page is available to signed-in members. It collects your name, the email address of your account, an optional offer amount, your preferred payment route, your message, and your IP address. The IP address is stored to make rate limiting work and to identify abuse; it is not used for anything else.
This information is stored in the site’s own database and is used solely to reply to you and to conduct the transaction you enquired about. It is not sold, rented, or shared with any marketing service.
When you simply read the site
The web server keeps standard access logs containing IP address, timestamp, requested page, referrer and user agent. These are retained by the hosting provider under their own retention schedule and are used for security and diagnostics.
Advertising
The guides section of this site displays advertising through Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, which may include ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.
Where the consent banner is enabled, no advertising script loads at all until you accept. If you decline, the script is never requested and no advertising cookie is set by it.
You can control personalised advertising directly at Google Ads Settings, and opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info.
There are no advertisements on listing pages, the enquiry form, or these legal pages.
Analytics
No analytics service is used. The site does not count, profile or follow visitors beyond the hosting provider’s standard server logs described above.
Legal basis
For your account, the basis is providing the service you signed up for, which you can end at any time by deleting the account. For enquiry data, the basis is the steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract. For server logs, the basis is legitimate interest in operating and securing the site. For advertising cookies, the basis is your consent, which you may withdraw at any time by clearing this site’s storage in your browser.
How long it is kept
Your account is kept until you delete it. You can do that yourself at any time with the Delete my account button on the account page; it takes effect immediately and removes your email address and profile. Enquiries are kept for as long as the conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping, then deleted. Server logs follow the hosting provider’s retention period. Advertising cookies follow Google’s own expiry, documented in their policies.
Who else sees it
The hosting provider, as an inevitable consequence of the site running on their infrastructure, including the mail service that delivers sign-in links. Google, if you choose to continue with Google, for the sign-in itself. Google, for advertising, and only after consent where the banner is enabled. The escrow or payment provider, if you proceed to a transaction – but you deal with them directly and this site never receives your payment details.
This site has no payment processing of any kind. It never sees, handles, or stores card numbers, wallet keys, or bank details.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the data held about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive a copy in portable form. To exercise any of these, email the address at the top of this page. Requests are answered within 30 days.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom and are not satisfied with the response, you may complain to your national data protection authority.
Children
This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
Material changes to this policy will be reflected in the update date above. Continued use of the site after a change indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
